Students in Years 7-9 are offered a range of leadership opportunities including: School Ambassadors, School House Captains and Vice Captains. Students may receive training in leadership skills. Students are involved in decision making at Dripstone.
School Ambassadors:
School Ambassadors are separated into two groups -
School Ambassadors for Learning participate in the Northern Territory Learning Commission (NTLC) and to analyse teaching and learning data to make suggestions and improvements to teaching and learning through student voice. School Ambassadors for Learning will have a project that they work on implementing throughout the year. They will attend NTLC excursion days.
School Ambassadors for Community promote a sense of school ownership and community by listening to student voice and bringing about positive change for all students. School Ambassadors for School Community will be responsible for running special school events as suggested to teacher leaders from the school principal.
